Just imagine you are working for any manufacturing industries, and you used to made Garments item, Your designation is sewing operator, The industries are very well known in your country for it's production quality, achievement, facilities, and This industries are Top ranked Exporter for your country. I Think that you will feel very happy with those matter and you should proud of your working industries.
If you have look what is the real cause behind huge success of your industries, First they are very success to achieve their worker Efficiency based on SMV and They are always to success gain their production target.

WHAT IS SMV:
SMV is stand for Standard Minute Value, if we want to describe SMV for a Garments industries it's looking like this. To make a single piece ready made garments how many type of Machine will be used, how many sewing operator will be used, how many helper will be used, calculating those thing Industrial Engineer are decide that standard time for making a Ready made Garments. SMV could be varies Style to Style, Garments to Garments and Factory to Factory.
EFFICIENCY:
Before discussing about efficiency i want to discuss firstly about the matter how to a Garments industries make profit. A Garments Industries make their profit only from CM (Manufacturing Cost) and Efficiency is the only key to make more profit, In Garments industries efficiency is calculated line wise production. Based on SMV of a Garments or Style, how much operator and helper are working in a line and how much they working calculating those thing I.E (Industrial Engineer) Calculate the Efficiency of a Sewing line. The percentage of Efficiency ensure that how much CM are Earned, and how much a Factory can make profit form.
PRODUCTION TARGET:
Based on SMV of a Style and quantity of operator and Helper in a Garments Industries Management declared a Production Target for every line. And to achieve this target they make a pressure to line chief and supervisor.
Here i'm going to describe about those policy of manufacturing of a Garments Industries. I'm just going to taking about those people, about those operator, about those helper, about those supervisor, about those line chief and about those I.E who are really give a great labour to make beautiful Ready Made Garments. How much they work hard based on Target it's really very difficult to achieve daily production target and achieve highest Efficiency. It's really a work like super human.
Why i'm telling like this, if a Garments industries working hour start from early 8.00Am, A operator start his work from 8.10Am. Form the time non-stop he sewing garments until lunch break. Just imagine one thing how much patience they have, how much they a dedicated for their work, how much they are dedicated for their industries. Otherwise it is quite impossible for any one.

Although they are dedicated for their work, but also a huge pressure always make by line chief or supervisor to increase their efficiency to achieve their production target, if any hour they are able to achieve their production target then a new target are set for them, and again the pressure is building, it's looking competition of making garments. I also want to salute those supervisor and line chief how are always in pressure with the quantity of their production by management but also they are able to make good relation with operator and helper, they are always so much positive for operator and helper, they are always sacrifice minded.
In a word SMV, Efficiency and Production Target are not fair for any worker, Those kind of policy are always responsible to build up mental pressure of any worker. Management always try to make more profit from their production quantity, it's not a Great thinking, They should thinking about their worker, only salary is not sufficient for a worker, flexibility and pressure less working environment is very important for any worker. Ensuring 100% working environment in Garments Industries is the responsibility of our Government because GMT sector is the biggest source of Earning Foreign currency.
Although those worker working so hard, but also they leave the factory with a great smile.
